This is Phase 2 of MTR Corporation's concrete enhancement works at tunnels and platform tracks, Contract C9610-26C, to repair about 2,700 critical concrete defects (spalling and leakage beside tunnels/tracks), carried out during non-traffic hours from 2026 Q3 to 2028 Q4.

Material demand covers repair mortar, bonding agent, waterproofing admixtures and durability enhancers, classified under HS 38244000 (concrete admixtures). This is the largest single concrete-repair window in Hong Kong in recent years; PCE producers can enter via repair-mortar / waterproofing-system suppliers.
